Do these rotors look like they are on the correct side. It might just be my imagination, but they look backwards. I thought the slots and the drill holes were suppose to face the other way

those are correct. in theory, the slots should face backwards to evacuate the gasses. thats the way i mounted all four of mine. sounds kewl when you are going down the street.

i just got finished looking at about a million google pics on rotors and they all show the same thing - the slots going WITH the direction of the wheel, not against. it makes more sense to me that way... either way, the holes will do their job, but it seems to me like the slots would work better going away, so they can "fling" the dust and gasses out.

yeah, i stop much more suddenly, and it makes a really cool noise as the pads engage on the rotors. Its almost like an airplane coming in for a landing with the afterburners on. Best way I can try to describe it

well since i dont really have a hookup im pretty much going to pay almost 2oo bucks when its all said and done for a set of the same size as stock, but xdrilled and slotted rotors? I think i may just spend like 7oo or so and get a z32 bigbrake kit

or just find a Z32 that is broken down, and take the calipers off, buy a set of rotors, and see if you can buy the mounting bracket seperate

true, but id be willing to bet the mounting brackets are gonna be a ***** to find without buying the whole kit

maxima kits are our nearest matchup. the best thing about that is there is a big brake kit out from them. for an altima, a z32 swap would be hard to do, since they are rwd and we are fwd.

yea, but he was talking about me getting a big brake kit for my 24o, my altima will remain stock as it is my dailydriver, but hte 24o is going to get played iwth

ahhh, gotcha. i was at the idrc the other day and saw a BADASS kit on a late 90's maxima... the rotors, i s*** you not, were only about 1.5 inches from the inside of his 18 inch rim... beautiful. imagine that on our altimas. talk about overkill.

yea, but how fast would they stop, even if they're overkill, they're still awesome, besides, ive learned from experience, overkill is much better than 'underkill'
