rotors

is it possible for rotors to become too thin to still use or even thin/wear out at all?

yeahsaw it happen to a honda accord.we tried to tap it off the hub with a hammer and it shattered.

and on my car up front the outside disk was half the width it should be.

if yours are thin.replace them. its not safe.

when pads wear. or if you constantly run pads with abrasive materials it could wear down your rotors

Anyways, I'm just used to threads like this because they usually turn out to be pointless. But yeah, replace them if they're getting noticeably thin. Welcome to NICO btw.

They probably even have the minimum thickness stamped into the rotor somewhere.

They can become too thin also if they have been turned (machined) before.
