hey guys. im new here and i know ill probably get FLAMED ( Whatever that means) but anyways, im in the process of buying a house and i dont really have the money for getting a big brake kit from companys or even the 300zx one either so my question is can you get a bigger rotor and still use it on the stock brake caliper, some of you might ask why would you do that instead of getting the calipers first but like i said i dont have the money right now. In case anyone wants to know i was looking at the project mu's but if anyone else out there has any other advice which i know yall do please let me know thanks and again sorry for the stupid question.

PS can someone please tell me what flame means.

I'm pretty sure you can not use a bigger rotor with the stock caliper, because it probably won't fit in the caliper.

also, you can get brakes off a q45, they work just as well.

you could use a larger rotor with the stock caliper if you made a bracket to move the caliper further away from the center of the hub, but it would be retarded and probably cost more than a good setup.

if you dont have money, then why the hell do you want to buy project mu rotors. my whole z32 brake setup cost less than a pair of project mu rotors.

I've never understood the point of buying expensive rotors. Spend it on the pads instead, they make a much larger difference.

^^True.

Assuming rotors are in serviceable condition.Lots of rotors I see on people's cars are worn down near minimum spec.
