Do a forum search for "ebay rotors" That should pull up lots of posts and threads about a set of slotted/drilled rotors that dozens of us on the forum have used as replacements. They are very very reasonably priced (almost to the point of being skeptical at first) and also come with a pair of brake pads too. I personally love em and they are also zinc dichromate (spelling) coated so that you dont have to worry about the rust that happens with rain etc. Ive had them for about 6 months with zero issues and they look fantastic. Other members have had them long and I dont recall anyone not liking them. Good luck!

For comparative data, I have a set of EBC slotted & dimpled rotors & red stuff pads waiting for me to put on this weekend. They are the black-coated rotors from autopartswarehouse.com

I am replacing a pair of Cryogenically frozen rotors (frozenrotors.com) that were ridiculously expensive and warped on me after a year or so. (So much for "getting what you pay for"). After looking at their site again today, maybe I'll send them in to see if they are infact warped or as they claim...it's an issue with the pads depositing material on teh rotors... (I doubt it.)

I've used the EBC stuff on this car before and also warped a set of their rotors (I believe) by my own mistake when I sprayed them down while still really hot. On my other vehicles now and in the past, I've used the EBC stuff, abused the crap out of them and they've held up fine.

Update: The black coated EBC units were received but are actually an inch too large in diameter. I'm in a discussion now with Autopartswarehouse about why they would offer a direct fit replacement rotor that's an inch larger then the OEM equipment.

Any ideas about why they think an approximately 12.5 inch rotor should fit?

You should try the Ebay kit! I've got about 25k miles on my set and don't budge one bit!! Brakemotive makes them currently going for about $188 set of four drilled and slotted rotors, 8 ceramic pads! :bigthumb:

I forgot to mention the name: Centric. These from Tire Rack are coated to prevent rust in non-pad-contact areas.

Although I have no experience with these rotors on an Infiniti I ran R1 concepts slotted rotors and their ceramic pads on my SRT8 Jeep and that vehicle weighs about 1000 more pounds and through much punishment they did not warp and were very low dust.

cheap set is from ebay. i have it and currently used it as stated by others on here. also note cheap != crap quality

stock sets are somewhat rusty and warp with age. i haven't use anything other than the ebay kit and stock so i can say more than that. however look at it this way, if you use the ebay kit and you hate it, you're not really losing a lot of money as they do come with hawk pads (i think) and those are decent. if Ferrodo make pads for the M35x, i would deffy get them as they are ABSOLUTELY kick @$$ !!!
