I have a set of 26mm Z32 front calipers that I got from JHOT a few months back. They came with good pads so I used them with some cheapy rotors and, of course, I got what I paid for. They are warped beyond my belief, and I can see stress cracks starting to form

Anywho, my question is - Can I use the 30mm rotors AND 30mm pads on these calipers?

Finding the 26s arent easy, especially a good brand. I noticed that the pads had alot of shims on them, so Im thinking that if I did use the 30mm rotors with the 30mm pads, I shouldnt have any problems. What do you guys think?

Not gonna work.

Get some good rotors and you'll be fine... warping was likely due to a bad install.

They are cheaply made rotors, made in China, I paid less than 140 shipped for all 4 corners...

Would Brembo blanks be a good choice? Id like to have Powerslots, but the cash flow is needed elsewhere.

blanks are perfect. I've used them for a few hot lapping days, and they've held up pretty well.

Ok, so blanks it is. But for what car?The company I ordered the other set of rotors off of said that they were for a 95 non-turbo 300zx, but I thought that all Z32s used 30mm front rotors??? I need 26mm rotors for my setup, so can I turn the 30s down to 26?

According to O'Reillys, theyre all the same from 90 and up (30mm). But, also according to O'Reillys, the 89 turbo 300zx uses 26mm rotors, can anyone confirm that? Because these are Z32 calipers, and an 89 is a Z31...Basically what I need is a rotor that is 26mm thick and 11" in diameter, which is what O'Reillys says an 89 turbo 300zx is, but that throws me off because an 89 is not a Z32.

I bought them from JHOT back in October of last year, and Ive been running them ever since then...

I have no idea what youre talking about- "cutting holes in them than going through hoops?"

By the way, O'Reillys item number for the 26mm rotor is 25367But here is a link:http://www.oreillyauto.com/EW3...age=0

Rotors can be turned down 2mm for a minimum thicknessSo, 26mm - 2mm = 24mm

Minimum thickness is also stamped on my rotors that I have right now (24mm)

in 89 is when they changed the body style, but for what your looking for (according to oriley)then the 300zx z31 rotors will be fine. you might want to take a ruler with you just to make shure. then check on the year that had 4 lug (might be 86 or 85) might just get away without drilling holes.
