Yep. As far as I can tell, the Stillen are just drilled and plated Brembo blanks.

The question is which grade of Brembo Cast Iron is it or is it from China or Poland with a Brembo box................What about Power Stop?

I still have a set of 2002 Power Stops drilled on the front after 75,000 miles they are just below spec but I am reluctant to part with them.........just keep the pad depth above minimum 2mm.

Are OEM rotors the best for day-to-day driving? I have a set of cross-drilled Brembo, and they have been a total disappointment. After one year of use, the rotors warp like you wouldn't believe. I had them machined again, and they are starting to warp again. Now I'm thinking of going back to OEM or perhaps buying some white box rotors, as long as it can do the job...but definitely not going back to Brembo!

OEM are the best I think. I tried some rotors off E-bay and also autozone and each were warped. I bought some OEM from Nopi online and they have been great.

shocked no one here mentions the "frozen rotors" tirerack sells-cryogenically treated to resist warping................

What kind of prices/savings did you get buying Nopi vs. say ordering from Joe? Nopi makes OEM rotors for Infiniti? Never knew that...

I assure you NOPI does not sell OEM. Period. Replica, maybe, but not OEM. And not cheaper than Joe.

After one year of use, the rotors warp like you wouldn't believe. I had them machined again, and they are starting to warp again.

The number one cause of warping is failure to use oem pads [U93 or U91 and U85 rear] a tricky balancing act of pad softness [wear] and rotor overheating.

One year between warps is great depending on mileage...........under 10,000 miles is the NORM.

Changing pads or rotor [metal composition] throws the front rear balance off changing the temperature rise front rear increasing the chances of more frequent warping.

I used "OEM" incorrectly. Nopi sells Brembo's for about $35 a piece for front and $25 a piece for rear when I bought several months ago.

An interesting cost saving trick might be: oem front rotors with decent aftermarket rear rotors since the rears are solid the gains/losses of precise cast iron formulation are more limited compared to front where vane number, thickness, curvature, etc are very important. After all 70% of the braking is supposed to be on the front.

Another good indicator is the wear of front vs rear inside pads, since they start out the same thickness they should wear the same............tells you that things are balance or shifted............you can get yourself where the front pads last longer than the rears this may point to initial bite and friction curve problems.

Change/ truing all at the same time gives you data when taken over 3-4 warps as to what is working rear vs front.
