Whazzup,

So the tire place, cross threaded my lugs/wheel studs.

I suck it up and I'm off to fix it and might as well do a brake job.

So the stud naturally breaks off as expected.

However, I can't hammer it out. Rusted. So I try to take off the rotor to get a better lookand angle. Won't come off either. I'm guessing rust.

I hit it with PB Blaster, however, I can't get all the nooksand cranny b/c the rotor is still on.

Any suggestions on getting the rotor and wheel stud off?

Thanks,DK

Use a rubber mallet on the rotor to get it off. Then, you can probably use a ball peen hammer to get the stud out.

Rotors have threaded holes in them for a reason. Buy bolts that fit them, and screw them in untill they pop the rotor off of the hub.
