Alright, while browsing for brake rotors, I came across something I was curious about.

While I don't have experience with cross drilled rotors, I have heard that they stress and break on occasion. I was wondering if anyone had heard of dimple drilled rotors, and had any experience with them? I found them on the site linked below.

The structural integrity of an ordinary rotor may be compromised by cross-drilling, but I think special made (read: performance) rotors would be re-enforced to counteract the effects of cross-drilling. Either way, you probably won't be seeing that kind of stress on the street. Just be sure to buy from a reputable company and they'll hold up fine.

I assume you are going to upgrade your pads if you haven't already. I heard cross-drilled rotors would be a little more harsh on the pads, or maybe that was slotted...

Bump +1 for this guy, I'd like to know for sure as well.

Just FYI, I believe dimples do not serve any purpose other than looks. I read that somewhere before.
