Trust me the orginal post was much longer so I just decided to shortin it I was conversating with a new tech at my job and he tells me he was a rotary specialist for mazda and has had 3 fd rx7s the one he currently has is a 450 hp single turbo I show him my tt z32 and he goes to tell me he always loved the 90s zs as a 2nd to the fd which I tell him exact opposite with me which made us click then I had a idea I have a z32 with a blown engine (na) and I throw the idea of having a 13b z32 has anyone else see. Or heard of these being done you can also comment if you just think it's a cool idea lol

No because the drop in reliability, and the cost of custom fab work make it a terrible swap.but if you have the funds do it post tons of pics

Well I work with a rotary specialist who told me if I want to learn how to work on and properly maintain a rotary he would and from how it sounds the fab wouldn't be to bad but you never no

No because the 13B in stock form wont make the kind of torque to pull a fat a** Z32. I love Z32s, own 2 of them and I've driven a few FD3Ss from mild to wild, the rotary is a really fun engine when paired with a light car, it wont be very impressive lugging around 3300 lbs.

Yeah, these cars need more torque than a rotary (short of a full on race build) can muster.

If you have a NA shell and want to do something cool there standard choices are RB, VH, LSx. If you want to get crazy and have the funds you could try a vk56de FIA build, its the engine that the V8 supercars altimas run.

A fun swap would be a 1uz from toyota. With mild work those thing can hold 10k rpm all day and sound beautiful doing it
