So a rotary gets so hot that it needs 2 intercoolers? THAT'S NUTS!

Evo X is pretty sweet my friend let me drive his the day he got it. It handles very very awesome. And you can feel that it WANTS bolt-ons to let it breathe.

He traded his FI supra for it... Supra was pretty cool but he said we are getting older and he wants something with a warranty, lol

One Love,

Ghasty

I think the lower one is the radiator, upper v mount is the intercooler, and then the wee bitty one is the oil cooler.

When I first saw this swap, I hated on it for sure, pointing out how little torque it has compared to a 400hp SR or KA-T or whatever. But then I realized... thats 400hp... at 13psi... Who's SR or KA is making those kind of numbers!?

i love the smooth power band of the rotary. my little brother had a 91 and a 85 and both were so much fun to redline. because of this i kinda hate my KA, the 85 just kept making power all the way to redline, even though it only made 100hp at 1.1L. that is a nice swap that i want.

GHEY

Er I mean awesome! Ive known peter for a long time and I even saw this car at its first outing at a drift event. It was insane to hear a rotary shooting to 9200RPM in a S14. And it was spitting PS belts like it was its job lol.

And he even drove it to the event and home! And thats about an hour to an hour and fifteen minuets. Cars a bad arse for sure.

It's a 2.2, all rotarys are really double their assigned capacity. Damn it. Mazda decided that since it's not technically a 4 stroke engine, that they could get away with measuring it by 2 stroke standards.

Don't believe me, look up any NA 13Bs factory numbers, and look at any other 1.3, then look at say a 2.6 Caviler. I rest my case.

Those are sick numbers, but I'm not a fan of rotaries or Cocky Rotards. Just wanted to share what I found searching around on Google.

Chyeah! On the track they're dope because you think you need to shift, and you look down and it turns out you have another 2,000RPM! Haha.
