i will be getting these soon from urban imports out of NC. So just to prepare my s13 for these wheels is there anything i need to do to my suspension which is stock except for 1.8 lowering springs to accomodate these wheels. i am trying to build a daily driverdriver/drag machine and a little drifting. thx.

Nope. Just pick your tires wisely.

what type and size tires do you recommend. Not a fan of the stretched look.

245/40 & 265/40 should work fine. You aren't low enough for wheels/tires to start bumping into suspension components.

If you weren't staggered, I would have said 255/40 all around. I think that would be best actually.

Why even go staggered if the difference is that minimal? Just go with one or the other. That way you can rotate your tires.

Some of the fastest time attack cars have staggered fitments with .5" differences. It's like having a little more traction where you want it, but not so much that it's making you under steer worse.

This may be true, but I'm pretty sure this guy isn't going for one of the fastest time attack cars.

Or else he wouldn't be looking at Rotas....

Maybe not, but sizing is everything and who's to say he doesn't want good performance with what he has? Not everyone can afford top of the line wheels or else everyone would have them.

Actually, the fastest Time Attack Silvia's tend to run 255's all around. If I wasn't at work, I would link a BA youtube vid...
