I heard back from Ross on their crank dampers and they make them for about every Nissan engine but the VH. That shouldn't surprise me!!!

They'll make them, but we need to find 10 people willing to buy them. When I heard that I thought "No way will this ever happen" but it's worth a shot.

They've got a few different models and I don't know if we all have to decide on the same one. I definitely think we can eliminate the AC belt.

Price will hopefully be $450-550 like some of their other units but don't have anything solid. I know everyone else out there has chipped, wobbly OEM balancers too.

That's a fair bit of dosh!

I'd be more interested in a cheaper ally pulley like the Unorthodox Racing ones.

I have a billet aluminum crank pulley made from mossy performance I believe..

It was a lightweight pulley, no underdrive, and it did nothing for the VH45. I think the primary reason is the crank pulley is much more of a fraction of the total weight of the rotating assembly on a 4 or 6 cylinder, vs an 8 cylinder..

I have it sitting in my attic, and we decided not to make any more from the testing I did.

Here's a good read on dampers vs. solid pulleys. Especially if you're an engineer.

PROTUNE RACING.....how can I get a hold of you???? I want one of these. I tried emailing Protune (http://www.pro-tune.com/contact.htm) and they said they weren't affiliated. You have no contact info in your profile and searching your old posts doesn't bring up much! Please help!!!
