thinking of getting m35x, have 2 kids one 3yrs and the other just born , was wondering if theres enough room in the back for the car seats and also that being 6 3" i wont get kicked to much in the back... i thought i would try here before i haul the kids and care seats to the dealer to try it out myself...

any advice would be grateful, thanks

I am not 6'3", but am avg. six foot height with two kids in big Britax Roundabout car seats. They are 2 and a half and 1 and I get kicked slightly in my back, but not anything like some of the other cars I have had and driven. I would say you will probably be fine and the only way to get more room than this vehicle is to step up to a large sedan. I am very happy with the room in my M and the trunk is ample also.

I'm 5'10", not as tall as you. I have 2 kids (5 & 7) who ride in fwd-facing car seats. With the auto-retracting driver seat, it is probably back as far as you would have it in normal driving position. My kids can get in and out no problem with the seat back.

I have found there is plenty of room for both of my kids and their school bags. Not much else. But, this is not a minivan or a Town Car. The only negative I've seen is that the kids leave lots of footprints / dirt from their shoes on the backs of the seats, but it seems to clean up ok.

Welcome to NICO!

The car has a lot of room inside, as is typical for cars of its class - my 2003 M45 was tighter , but was still able to deal with my son behind me, with my seat set all the way back (although, at 5' 10", I am shorter that you are and did not set it back that far for normal driving).

So, I don't think you will have any difficulty with two car seats in the back, but, of course, kicks - when they are older - are another thing entirely! Yes, when they are in car seats (not the infant carriers), at about age 4 or 5, they will be able to kick the seat in front. This took only a small amount of requests over time for my son to get over - not too long fortunately - except when he was mad about something!

Very true! As you say, regular cleaning seems to clean it up okay though.

One of the reasons I bought my M35 was I needed 4 doors as my GTO and Cobra both have minimal room in the back, hence the trade on the GTO for the M Sport!

Great space in the back as my kids are 7 and 4 and have lots of room to relax in the back while watching a DVD.
