I found an SE roofrack the other day for a great price. Only problem is, it's missing one of the caps that cover up the screws and finishes off the end. Anybody have one or know where I can get one?The dealership was absolutely no help at all. The parts MANAGER argued with me about it being a factory Nissan roofrack. If anyone has this same rack and can get me a part number I'd really appreciate it.

Your dealer is retarded. Outside of them the only place I know of to find one is a junkyard. I would suggest asking another Nissan dealer, or call the factory itself.

Yeah, I got the whole "I've worked here for x# of years and I've never seen this roofrack." Then he goes and shows me his personal 03 Pathfinder LE that has the roofrack that I took off mine. "See, this isn't the factory roofrack." I told him countless times it was off an SE but he was just being an a$$ so I got in my truck and left.

Does anyone know of a place I can look up part numbers to try and find this?

Ok, so I contacted another dealership and they said I have to buy the whole new crossbar and it's $107!!! Does anyone know where I might be able to find this piece online? I've tried ebay with no luck.

Heh I have a supplier I use for misc. parts in KC and they give me little stuff like that for free. In the end though that's not that bad a price.

I have to pay a dealer to install my rear guard because I don't have the right tools and that's 97 dollars. =/

If you come across this piece somewhere, PLEASE pick it up and I will pay the shipping! I have no issues installing it myself.

The blue is a rare color for the pathfinder, it's the only one in my area. Thanks for the website, but I couldn't find the piece I needed. I had no idea it'd be this big of a deal.

Mine is an 02, and it's blue as well. However, mine is darker than yours. I've never seen one that bright a blue. Has it been painted at some point?I'm also wondering if it's a unique U.S. colour. There must be different colour codes and choices between Canada and the U.S. I've been to the states many times, and have yet to see a blue Pathy like mine (or yours).FYI: we also have the Chilkoot and Chinook Canadian only editions. Woo woo.

No, that's the factory color. I've seen a few online. I believe it's called Ice Blue. I've seen some 350Zs and Altimas around town that same color. My pathy is an LE but the roofrack I have is off an SE. Somebody find me this piece!

Nothing special. They just added an option package that was different from the usual packages available at the time, and called it a Chilkoot. I'll try and upload a pic of mine. I've been hesitant to try, but here goes.If this works, then thanks to Fueler for the tips on posting pictures. [IMG][/IMG]

Yea, it worked. I'm a happy camper. The pic looks a litle big, so I'll have to figure out a way to downsize a bit, but at least now I can go nuts and post some more pics.Yahoo.
