Any M veterans know if this is too good to be true?

Other than appearance, is there an advantage to having either, or both, of these spoilers?

I doubt that either of them has any noticeable effect on performance. The trunk spoiler is so short and it isn't angled upwards to increase down force. If anything, it might create drag as air trys to flow over the trunk surface. The roof spoiler from Sarona is really more of a visor than a spoiler, but looks great - and the other aftermarket roof spoilers are are also way too tiny to have any effect.
BUT, they doooo look good whislt doing next to nothing! I have both.

you should try to find the OEM version which wraps the edge of the truck - i like those the best - the one you posted seems to be more like the BMW look with the trunk lid deck.

Roof spoiler - not a big fan of now since i have the sarona - ever since i got mine, i been getting compliments since everyone else has the "ebay" roof spoilers.

Its not a cheap one but i think its worth it. I think Freddie (06M4.5) is selling one still
