What up folks ?
I purchased a roof spoiler from CarKing (an ebay seller) whom a lot of people have purchased theirs from. I must admit, the paint is very much OEM looking. My issue is that it doesn't conform right out of the box to the back window. It actually seems like it won't fit. I know it will with some work. I have seen people on here and other forms with them. I just want to know what is the secret that most of you guys use ? A friend of mine told me to leave it in the sun for a while and get a hair dryer for when we are to put it on. Last option I have is to take it to a shop. But they'll charge me $60 which I think is ridiculous !!! Any help would be much appreciated.

Your friend is exactly right!!! Put it out or on your dash for about 30-45 minutes and it will soften up...two sets of hands is better so you both can hold the top corners in place until it dries a bit! Also, some have used additional glue (not sure what kind since I didn't) so it won't fly off in the freeway or come off during repeated washing... something that is now happening to me  I am currently in the hunt for a good glue to use!

It comes with some kinda glue. But I'm inclined not to use anything I can't read. It's in Chinese. I'm gonna look online for some glue. Do you guys have any suggestions ??

See that's what I'm afraid of. I live in NYC n not only do I wash my car often, but it also has severe temp fluctuations. So I need to make sure it'll stay on

hey bodyguard , maybe the tape wasnt good 3M to begin with ???? i dont know if the heat gun i also used played a factor in it sticking better ! i heated the glass a little before putting the spoiler on ! but yah if that happened to me i would probably put some adhesive ! i tooo wash my car once a week if not twice a week ! and its been raining pretty much over here lately and im glad my spoilers been holding up ! hope you get yours to stay better this time !
