Need Help Removing Roof Rail Plugs
Attempting to install crossbars on my 2019 Rogue SV. I'm having great difficulty removing the factory installed plugs. Called my local Nissan service tech and was told to use standard pry tool and they would pop right out. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as described see pics. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

UV degraded plastic, so much fun!
Get a small wood screw and screw it into the plastic. Spray a small amount of lube, wait a couple minutes for it to penetrate and pull on the screw with some pliers.

In case anyone is interested, so nobody make the same mistake I did. The plastic plugs will actually unscrew from the roof rails once you get them pried up a little. Don't try to force them out by pulling with pliers.
