I read another post somewhere, I will have to do a search for it to be for sure. But from what I found out no companies actually make one designed for our car but there is one out for the scion tc and with longer rods that the company offers it fits our cars perfect. Someone should chime in at some point because Ive seen pics and it looks nice. The kid uses it to mount his snowboards up top which is why I would like to get one.

no one makes a rack for our car. I contacted every roof rack manufacturer i can think of and the haven't made one because they couldn't make one that was safe. even called corporate nissan and asked them if there was one for our car. it was a dead end. probably because of how our roof was resigned.

replace rope with extension cords and you'd fit in where I live

I saw someone getting towed with an extension cord yesterday, it was badass

Dont say no one makes a rack until someone actually goes out and researches some. There are mulitple companies that make racks that will fit on our car with small modifications. Just nothing bolt and go as of now. Thule and Yakima racks will both fit on our cars. You just got to have a little imagination and ingenuity, not just sit on your couch and google roof rack and wander why you cant find anything. If you want one, you can make one work.

The kid that I know that has it on his car and hauls snowboards said he found on some thread that a Thule roof rack for a 05 Altima 2.5S would fit the G35 coupe so he tried it on his 08 a/c. Looks like a perfect fit to me and when I run into him again I try to snap a pic with my phone. Something to look into. He said he has no problems with it at all and he drove from NC to NY last winter for a trip to the mountains for snowboarding. I guess hes from NY and never had any problems driving up I-95 at 75 mph. He said he has longer bases in the rear than in the front based on the roofline but he ordered them from a local installer before making the trip.

we use bailing wire here in ok.. but duct tape solve all lifes problems, even holds marriages together... till death do them part: just place on mouth, then hold nose tightly, soon the problem will all be over

Good point. There thing is if you really want a roof rack, it can happen. Whether you get a installer to make one work for you or get in contact with manufacturers to get one made. Its possible
