roof rack questions [97 PF]

I recently bought a 97 PF. The space for mounting the roof rack rails seems to have on each side 3 attachment points for webbing and also a plastic cover, but nothing else.

What sources are there for rails, preferably made specifically for the PF/QX4? Does installing them require removing or penetrating the headliner?

Thanks for the link to the illustrated parts list, which showed both what components formed the rails and how I could ill-afford that vendor's prices.
