i bought a cyclone roof mount 8'' screen to go in my max.. i need to run the wires thro the roof to my stereo.. how does the plastic column peice by my door come off.. or is there another way i can loosen the roof fabric to run my wires?

It yanks off, and be careful. It's held on by a series of clips.

I think you may have to remove the rear upper trim first, don't remember exactly since it's been about a year or so since I've removed mine.
