Roof Antenna?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I apologize if I sound like an idiot, but I just purchased the EX35 Premium with no Nav. My car doesn't have roof antenna. I ready the manual but it doesn't really specify what the antenna is used for, though I assume it's for the XM. I'm under the impression that it should have the antenna. Can anyone confirm or deny my suspicion? Thanks for your help.

I think for the GPS on the NAV also. I believe it is a combination of the two. It would make sense. No NAV, No GPS, No Antenna. I would have actually 'preferred" not to have it, but really wanted the XM and NAV, so no choice.

I have the XM antenna on my EX 35 and I do not have GPS or NAV . Hate to say it , XM radio isnt my cup of tea , when I have tuned into a few stations they are all repeats from what I listened to the day before ........

I would of rather had an option of HD radio .

Thanks for your responses. Turns out they take them off at the dealer for security reasons and must have forgot to put it back on when I picked up my car. Going to pick it up from them tonight. Thanks again.

Sometimes, when I'm listening to XM, I hear the same song over and over... and wonder if their Music is on a 8-Track tape.
