I worked with Bluebat (Andy) on developing a hood overlay for the CF hood. I also helped him to test fit the roof overlay for the skyview (04Maxxxfreak worked with him on the moonroof version)

mx6ro1 Roof Overlay $80. Specify skyview, or standard moonroof version. mx6cfh1 Carbon Fiber Hood Color Matched Accent Overlay $45.

They both turned out great!!

Hood:

Roof:

And for some of my pics as well!!

Roof overlay looks great.

What does the hood overlay encompass?

lol, I guess that's a good and/or bad thing! I didn't want them to stand out too much but be a nice subtle break up of the CF hood...thanks!

I didn't notice the hood overlays at first glance either. They tie the CF hood into the car nicely. In the pics closer to eye level, the line is very clean...it looks great.

As for the roof overlay, our car came in the right color from the start. The skyview panel definitely looks better against a black roof.

I did a bunch of photo shops first to decide how to go. I had one where it followed the vents more but when I met with Andy and we did the pattern it just looked awkward. I think it turned out great!!

I saw this maxi on the .org. Congrats on winning the MOTM. Also. Where can I get these overlays for the hood? I thought urs was real carbon fiber hood. lol

but then I saw this and was like whoa. NVM.

So do they make them for Gen4s? I would love a carbon fiber look for my hood. Hell I would love a carbon fiber hood in general but I cannot afford $600 bucks(with ship) for something that is a little lighter and looks cool.

His hood is real CF. The overlays are the silver painted parts at the sides of the hood.

Bat, I've got the word out there as well. There was a guy in Corona (I think) that stepped up for Eibach and a couple of other companies. I'll send him your info...
