i am working on fixing a couple problems with my car so i decided to start a new tune from scratch to rule that out as a problem.

currently i modded the stock ca18det bin file using this guide

http://www.boostcruising.com/silvia/eprom.asp

i adjusted the K value for 450cc injectors and a z32 maf, i also adjusted the "void blast off time" according to their guide, as well as the boost sections (which i am not sure what that is adjusting)

i am then going to use an SAFC to do the fine fuel adjustments.

here is the bin file in question

also, anyone have any suggestions on adjusting the timing maps for running 12psi of boost on an HKS GTSS turbo?

reduce the ttp min, base timing is 10deg, reduce the timing alittle on the top end of the timing maps.

??? question do u have a wideband? the values in the main fuel map seem alittle low to me. Are your afr good?

also, how much lower should reduce the TTP?-terry

Well first of all you are running the Euro/South American CA18DET ROM with the 4 port head...I dont know if this is what you wanted to do but the ign values are different than the JDM and also with the SA ROM the ign high and ign low values are the same...in the JDM they are different.I agree with above on the fuel values...they look REAL lowThe real problem with running more boost is you still have the resolution for the stock 7-8 psi. If you run more boost you will be running the same fuel and ign timing at 8 psi as you will at 12 psi wich is going to hurt performance at 8 if your tuning for 12. The correct way to do this is have the maps scaled for higher resolution in boost. You can use a ROM editor or do it yourself. I have had more success doing it myself than I have had with the ROM editor and through trial and error I have developed a good technique : ) If you do it right it works awesome.
