hey i got a ? is all this info for eprom the same if you are using a daughter board. Or is this only good if you replace the factory chip?

I know that this is probly a stupid ? but i searched and could only find decent threads for the RB, and CA ecus and i dont know if that info is the same for the KA ecu.

Getting tunes from other plp can be tricky and it will never solve ur situation.

Yeah you can use base tunes, but you need to tune OBLIGATORY.

I got a sample tune for my Ka24et setup, ran b**** rich, and had some insane timming detonation, had to rebuild and will be tuning again from scratch.

Actually tuning isnt so hard, read, check some tunes out, fuel maps just need to be trimmed to get the required AFR. And timming follows simple principles.

As far as i could see, after reading and stuff I could do what my tuner does EASYLY. learned a lot of course. My tune isnt done, since engine is being rebuilt, but ill be sharing it when its finished.

I just bought a consult cable, if I can figure out how to use it I'll grab the tune from my ecu and post it on here. It's an EFI specialist tune.

Say what???!?! You don't even own a 240 yet, but you posted to say that you "suppose" that you can post a tune.... 10 months from now.

I just recently purchased Nistune and love it so far. Even though I can't get my car to run at the moment, its still very easy to work with.

I highly recommend autovaughnperformance. I have spoken with Andy on several occasions and is always very helpful and has great customer service.

heres a bin file that ive been working on for my car. it has launch control set at 3500 rpm and up to i believe 6 mph. its for a 91 ka-t t3/t4 .50 cold, .63 hot, .57 trim. 440 cc injectors and stock maf with a pull through setup. has room for at least 10-12 psi but not tested to that level. i currently run around 8-9 psi on this tune. http://eccs.hybridka.com/download/file.php?id=729

use at your own risk. currently runs a little rich in normal and highway cruising. around 14-15 in regular cruising and high 13's to low 14's in highway cruising. still needs a little fuel trimmed under boost at higher rpm's.
