Hey guys,

Like the title says, I rolled my QX4 a month ago, pretty clean roll over didnt destroy the car and I was able to fix it and paint it out of pocket. Now that I got it back I noticed some problems that I was hoping I could bundle all into one thread if anyone could help me. Just stupid little problems but I need some help as Im not the greatest mechanically but love doing EVERYTHING myself. Heres my problems:

-key fob doesnt work, both of them, any button UNLESS the key is in the ignition.... weird, then it works....-clock doesnt work, air control unit resets when you turn the car off

^^^ I think all these might be connected to a fuse or something? (hoping)

-gas pedal has to be pushed to start the car, even just a TINY bit and the car start and runs mint, but when the cars cold, and you just try and start it, it kicks over, then just gently dies... weird

Thats all Ive noticed so far, but Ive only driven the car to work once.

I'll have to post some before and after pictures, came out perfect!

Hope someone can help

Really appreciate itThanks

The gas issue might be a dieing fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter.

How many miles and when was the last time the filter was changed? Its fairly simple to do yourself and should be done every 30k~60k miles.

You will probably think this question is random, but my QX was rolled before i got it...so my question to you is did they "fix" the roof or replace it?

Aahhh well i hope you don't have any further problems with that, because I sure do. My roof keeps rusting because the roof was fixed instead of replaced. I've had my dad's body shop re-paint the roof about 3 or 4 times in a course of 8 years and it's been overdue for another fixing, but this time i'm going to have them replace the whole roof so the rust doesn't come back. As for your other problems i don't know how to help you there as i have not experienced those problems with mine after i got it. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here so hopefully somebody can help ya out...good luck and post up some pics!

hey i rolled my 01 Pathfinder in november but mine was written off its the green one in my pics below. anyway i agree with goodOmens on the gas pedal issue. your clock should only be a fuse i think im not 100 % sure but check the fuse box under your steering wheel. theres a 10A fuse on the far right of the panel should only be 4 in that row. its the second from the top. if thats good than try the 7.5A fuse in the first row (far left) second from the bottom. let me know how you make out. shoot im right in brampton with a manual. Hope this helped.

Hmm, seems like it's not good to have a Pathfinder in Southern Ontario (I live in Kitchener), and be reading this forum. I plowed through the trunk of an older Buick 2 years ago. Just a bit of paintwork and I was good to go again..

werd . I've fallen in love with the way all-mode works, and as much as I dig the G35 coupe, I'd easily buy a G35x sedan. I wonder if it feels the same when it engages. I got into a coupe and it felt about the same size as my 240sx -- I don't wanna go back to that size again.

I hear ya but the G is still new (not even a year old yet) and i don't want to void any warranties. However i am planning on starting the modifications soon. Plus the QX needs some work to continue functioning properly LOL

As far as the third brake light goes it is a sticker...on the inside. It goes directly over the light, so you have to take it out and apply the sticker over it. You'll have to measure it to ensure you get the right size sticker, unfortunately i have no idea what the size is, i don't remember. But once you get the dimensions the next step is to go to a place that makes stickers (for me there is a booth in the local flea market) Ask for the sticker but tell them that you want the outline...the entire thing. It might help if you let them know what you are doing or make them aware of the overall dimensions so they don't cut it too close. Also it might seem obvious but i'm saying it just in case, the font should be big block letters because thin lines are harder to see, especially from a distance. That's about it, just be careful and take your time to ensure everything is centered because you only get one shot!
