does anyone know if the Cusco 6 pt roll cage fits in a vert?? the cage is made for a coupe.

Also, are hardtops available or has anyone had one custom made? if so where??

Cusco coupe cage will not work...And unless your referring to the safety21 cage then its useless cause the blue cusco cages are not track legal. If I remember correctly, Autopower makes a track legal roll bar, just not a full cage...corect me if I am wrong. Hardtops? I wish...welcome aboard!

You know, until today, I've only ever used the Google search. It's not obvious that the flashing red button provides a different search. Maybe Greg can add an "advanced search" link under the Google search box.

Why exactly doesnt a coupe roll cage fit???

well for one the whole rear of the car is set up is alot more bulkyer(sp).. and as for the front i dont think you'll be abell to open and close the top..

i do know that the rear hoop will fit you just need to bend the arms i stock a safety21 hoop in but other than that every thing else has to be cut and modified..

IMO your better off getting one made..

anyone know of a site or something that has guidelines for whats required to pass tech inpection for drifting, i've seen a few for miatas with a single bar across the back, but with 240s the ones i've seen they sacrafised (sp?) the back seats which i dont wanna do hopefully theres a way around that, any ideas would help me, thanks.

its all about doin it custom XAT RACING in tampa fl (xatracing.com)helped me do my 4 point in my vert -SO NICE TOO! perfect main hoop height

i really want a cage but at the same time i dont want to get rid of my back seats but from all pics i've seen and just lookin at the way the cage is built its gonna have to happen, but i had a friend say in his old american crap car he fit a single seat in the middle between the back bars where the old rear seats used to be, is it possible would it be wide enough or even high enough that the top'll still close with it in? i dunno i think it'd be pretty sweet if it was possible.

also is this a good cage to put in the 8pt. one?
