I don't understand a roll cage in a 'vert.

Roll bars.... yes!Roll cage... NO.

You put in a roll cage and it's simply a coupe with no roof panels... you've ruined the idea of a convertible.. Just get a coupe with a sunroof.

If you are going to build the car to the point of needing a roll cage (ie... sub 13 second runs at the track)... why did you build a 'vert in the first place? Get a coupe to make a track car with....

Sorry... I don't mean to insult you... I don't mean that at all... I just don't understand why anyone would want a roll cage in a convertible.... it's seems counter-productive.... Why build a roof (even though it doesn't have panel) on a roofless car??

alright, let me rephrase that ROLL BARS, not a whole cage. i dont need it for any purpose other then looks. just was wondering how to make it or where to get one. you didnt insult me. this car is going just to be a cruiser and nothing more. well an agressive one at that. my power car is my evo all my motor mods go into that.

thank goodness.

Stuff like this drives me nuts...

What's the point of having a 'vert if you put a roof on it?

autopower main hoop, then get 18 ft of extra tube from them 5 bucks a foot, then cut and weld and x brace to the floor in the back between the shock towers, cut out the back metal crap in the backl to weld directly to the shock toweres and the main hoop goes to the floor behind the driver adn passenger seat. thats what i did. People can hate on my convertible track car but its just way to fun to slide top down. i havea pic but it prolly wont he;lp you that much of my cage.

that 350z is the ultimate, i love that car. I have a bunch more pics of it saved.

I gotta have a bar or my car won't be legal... I don't care if some people don't like it, I don't build my car for other people.
