Roll bar, cage or something...

Don´t hate me now, I don´t know the English word and couldn´t search it.

I´m looking for a low roll bar I saw at a 240sx pic a while ago. It´s a bar to make the Vert body stiffer.

What do you call this and can you buy this part bolt on for 240?

I know what you are refering to, but I've only heard them called floor bars. A friend of mine has one on his corolla.

110octane has that bar from B pillar to B pillar, is that what you mean?

I´ll try to explain...

It looked exactly like a normal half cage or roll cage but lower.It had a main hoop (spelling?) and two legs going forward and two legs going backwards.The main hoop was in the same height as the door and fenders, can´t see it from the outside.

Probably a custom thing but looked very good and probably works wonders.This thing connect both front/rear and side to side.

thats 110octanes car... only thing I've ever seen that is even remotely like what you are talking about. It is not a roll bar or a rollcage, since it offers 0 protection in a rollover.

I meant it looked like a roll cage, the shape.

It probably helps out if you get hit from the side and got the front bars passing the door but don´t want to think about rolling over...

I´ll do this for the stiffness of the body, don´t care about safety right now.Pics will be posted when everything is done and engine/transmission in place.
