I have an '11 white QX56 and received the settlement notice yesterday. After calling both a local dealer per the instructions and Infiniti Client Services, I can report that there is mass confusion. Each party told me to call the other. I was also informed that the extended 8 year paint warranty had already expired even though the settlement was just announced. What is also confusing is: "The Nissan Rogue and Infiniti QX56 extended warranties provide one full repaint of the white vehicle, but customers will still need to pay a 10% co-pay for the first two years of the repaint claim period. However, if the repaint occurs during the final two years of the repaint claim period, customers will need to pay a 30% co-pay.”

I emailed the lawfirm that brought the suit and will report back when I receive info.

If anyone has info regarding this or has talked to Infiniti I'd like to hear of your experience.

This was originally posted in the QX56, but this also applies to certain model Rogues. I've added it here as there are bound to be members that will be affected by this recall.

I have a 2015 second hand black Nissan Rogue S, after one year of ownership I noticed the paint on the hood was starting to bubble and peel I contacted Nissan they agreed to repaint the hood and gave me a loaner car while my car was in the body shop at no cost to me.

Orange peel isn't a paint failure. Orange peel is indicative of paint that was poorly sprayed in the first place.

i dont have a link to the lawsuit but i googled it. The Tennessee case is called Nelson, et al., v. Nissan North America
and website says "Nissan Rogues must have been manufactured between January 11, 2013, and April 23, 2013" (the Infiniti Models ranges are 2009 to 2012)
estimate to repaint is $5,800 for the Rogue, so expect to pay 580 to 1740.
