Hi All,

I just upgraded my Rogue last week from a 2008 S to a loaded 2010 SL (they made me an offer I couldn't refuse...) Overall I was very happy with the 08 but there were a few little things that bugged me, especially not having a trunk light

Has anyone else out there traded one in yet or purchased a 2nd one? I know I'll be keeping this one for awhile...

I was about to upgrade to murano but dealer refused to give me a fair offer for the car. All the sound upgrades in Rogue are not worth to the dealer and he still claim it as stock speakers/radio. I probably just put for sale sign and if I get a luck to sell it for fair price then I'm getting murano. I want something a little bit more powerful but keep the nissan logo.

Yep had a 2008 SL AWD and same thing made me a real good offer. Now read my other post I made below And yes they are fixing it as you are reading this. NOW this may not happen to you, I guess i'm the lucky one, two Rogues from same showroom two years apart and two trans. LOL :bs:

Hi Guys, been looking on here for a very long time and have learned a lot from all of you.
Had a new 2008 Rogue and yes after 1,500 miles a new trans had to be put in, no problem from Nissan they did it right away. Now after two years, traded that in for a new 2010 fully equipped and just started to go on vacation. After 750 miles had the same thing happen to me as you describe not only once but four time going from Phila, PA to williamsburg, VA could not finish my Vacation because of this. Car is now at dealer. Dealer said they will keep my car till they find out what is wrong. Will get back to this Forum with there answer "Quote Seems like the CVT forgot to get back to low gear after the long drive at highway speed. I think you hit the nail on the head :dblthumb:

Hopefully they get that fixed for you quickly. I didn't have any transmission issues with my 08 (23k miles)

Hi Leo 2005, I am also thinking of upgrading to a Murano, the sales guy who sold me the Rogue says that they are in high demand and will offer me a good price and $1600 off the price of a Murano. We did not really start to bargin although he said around $24k + tax on top. I noticed there not many for sale around here ( Toronto). Must be different where you are. I would check around .
