It looks to be legit. The Rogue is listed as a compatible vehicle on the Bully Dog site:

I had a Hypertech programmer for my Dodge Ram, and I saw a 2 MPG in town (from 8 to 10 ) and an increase of 3-4 on the highway. I noticed a slight performance increase, but nothing great. However, the truck itself was designed back in the early 90's, and the engine block was designed in the 70s I think, haha. So not exactly an Apples to Apples comparison...
This site says it supposedly gives you a gain of 23 HP and 30 Ft-Lbs of Torque. http://www.truckcustomizers.co....html However, I can't find that info on the Bully Dog site.I'm very tempted to buy this though. Unfortunately, I just dropped a few hundred for a new laptop and cannot afford it.
EDIT: So, upon looking around in the Altima forum for guys who've tried it on their 2.5 and the CVT, here's some keypoints:-RPM limit can be raised, but it will still shift at the old redline because the TCM over-rides the ECU and the 'shift points' stay the same.-Top speed limiter can be removed for those interested. It was a long thread, but I didn't see anyone going above 120.-The gains are estimated to be around 10-15 HP actually, and supposedly there is a nice, noticeable gain in the mid to high rpm range.
I think I'll stop by one of the shops in town and see if they can set me up with Bully Dog's 'Try and Drive' deals in which they flash the ECU and the tune lasts for 3 days. (Or something like that, it's 1 am, so I'll call tomorrow and see if they can set me up with a 'trial tune' for my Rogue.)
Btw, here's the thread:
