Post

Folks,

Can anyone recommend front brake pads and rotors for a 2014 Nissan Rogue SL FWD (not a select).

Rears are not a problem in finding stuff but the front seems more difficult.

Thanks for any replies.

Rockauto...my preference is the Bosch pads and rotors mostly because they aren’t made in China or at least they weren’t.

Stoptech or Centric, which is also a Stoptech brand

I always plan to do mine but they always pass lately.

Actually think my front brakes are originals but I had the dealer replace the rears a few years back.

I'm more the oem type.

I was planning to get oem brakes on ebay.

And rotors.

Whichever is cheaper. Ebay or the Nissan website.

So I went to the maxbrakes website and I like what I read. I like the idea of an American company manufacturing their own pads and rotors here in the US instead of farming it out to third world countries, and the price is great also. I'm not much on all the drilled and slotted stuff but the vehicle I checked had OEM solid rotors available also.

Since it sounds as thought you have done business with them in the past, I have a question. Are the brakes and pads made in the US?

Hi Jarhead. It's actually a Canadian company. I don't know manufacturer country of origin, but per their website I doubt they use Canadian or US foundries (at least for the rotors):

"Max Advanced Brakes is a leading supplier of automotive brake parts in North America, headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Our extensive lineup of brake products are manufactured in facilities that follow ISO9002 / QS9000 / TUV / VDA 6.1 World Standards. " You could ask them...

They worked well for me and were a great value.
