Hi,

I have a few questions about Rogue transmission.

As i know, basicly the transmission is same, but how can i add my Rogue S tiptronic option?

Will it work if i change just "gear changer", i mean "PRND" (sorry for my bad english, i cannot explain differently).

Thank you for your help.

nope, not that easy. you will need the modules and programming. the computers tell the hydraulic system how many millimeters to increase or decrease in diameter in order to achieve the desired gear ratio.

I have second Rogue SL that i have disintegrated. The car crashed and i used its parts for other cars.

I have every single part transmission, engine, everything.

So, what will i need? Just modules of SL Rogue?

Or old (S Rogue) module can be reprogrammed to Tiptronic?

from the top of my head: transmission ecu, shifter, (possibly main/engine ecu), clock-spring, etc.

So, its hard work. :(

What about Keyless go? Is it also hard to take all keylessgo equipment from my crashed Rogue SL to new S?

was the car sold with a feature that could be added on? if so - then all the wires and modules are already installed and ready to be used. mercedes does that too(other components other than tiptronic).

some companies dont waste the money and only make a certain model either have it or not - and not waste money wiring up basic models to have it, and then never recoup the money from those sold without the added feature.

Yeah they did. I even have the HID harness tucked away and the headlight leveling switch tucked away and I don't have the OEM HID's in the Lancer. I was hoping Nissan would do something similar where the plugs would be tucked away, and just need the tiptronic shifter assembly in order to plug it in.

Sad times :(
