THEY SHOULD GAVE USED STAINLESS STEEL FASTENERS HERE AND I AM MORE ANNOYED SINCE I HAD TO PAY EXTRA ($189) FOR THE CROSS PIECES WHICH I DIDNT WANT OR NEED BUT THE SALEMAN SAID THEY CAME WITHTHE VEHICLE....THIS SHOWS LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL ON THE PART OF NISSAN!!!!

I agree, that's poor quality to not use stainless fasteners on a part that is outside the car at all times and exposed.

You could call your dealership and ask it they will replace them under warranty. They may not have failed yet, but if they are already rusted, they may fail in the future.

I wouldn't hesistate to bring this up with the dealer and insist this problem is corrected under warranty. Since you are within your 3-yr warranty period this should be a no brainer and I suspect they will immediately replace the rusty nuts/fasteners.

It's not that surprising. S/S is expensive and many mfg's prefer to use plated nuts/bolts.

If Nissan cannot help, I would go out and buy the necessary T-30 Torx wrench, remove one of the bolts, and take it to any place that specializes in industrial fasteners. They should be able to measure and recommend replacement S/S hardware.
