i purchased a refill before, so i just called my local nissan dealer, and ask for the rear wiper refill. same story = NISSAN DOESNT SELL JUST THE REFILL. so i pushed my point, and made them match up a refill from another car. they said they would call me back.

Um, Dude... Did you not see my previous post???

After you change the blade, you could add one of these to dress it up.

They can't just pull up your previous invoice and look up that part number?

I got mine for $6.58 today, ordered from online website of a local Nissan dealer, part number is 28795-EL00A website says it's for another Nissan SUV but I didnt care :D, just got it today and they gave me the blade and the arm for $6.58 I'll try to install it tomorrow, if the arm doesn't fit right, I'll just replace the blade.

Not true. Go to any decent auto supply store and get the Anco N-12R (298mm), it's a narrow wiper refill. I picked up a 2 pack for about $7 and the clerk put it on for me. If you search for this online, the results say it doesn't fit, but trust me it does.

A man, why am I getting poked? I said thanks already (just playing), I still have to drag my lazy arse to Autozone to pick up this refill. Good thing I waited, snow kicked the hell out of it, and I know that's when you want it to work best for you, agreed. But it still works not bad, and I like new to stay new for a while.

Sorry Scooter, I should be careful of poking guys at random.

I was really aiming it at the others who were having trouble getting something through the "stealership" that is easily obtained through other channels.

I'm glad a smart guy like you found my post helpful. ;)

^^^ It's all good brudda. I have an interesting question I went last night to buy this thing and Advaced Auto did not have it, I'm pretty sure Autozone does, anywho, the question is that Advanced had snap a-way create your own length is 3 different thinkness's...which one is ours? Or just go by part # that you sent out the Anco N12R-12?
Thanks, this stupid little 12" peice of rubber is giving me a headache...LOL I did howerever pick up a new serp belt last night from dayco. It's suppsoed to be a pretty good one, best they had in stock.

So I go to Autozone last night and I don't see any blade refills of any kind on the floor. So I ask the guy behind the counter if he has them....he looks at me like I had two heads, and says "there no good, they always fall off and scratch the glass so we don't sell them". Really??? :wtf2:
So I ordered them from Rockauto.com and now I'll wait. Their shipping is rediculous but their price made up for it. 2 pack of the Anco n12r-12 were $1.88. Figured I was wasting more in gas trying to find these damn things.

I guess not all of AutoZone stores carry the refills, mine does for $6.99 + Tax... At least that's what their website says.

I ave a 2009 Rogue...the entire blade flew off my car last week, so all I have is the arm with no blade at all. At both Autozone and Pep Boys they said without the blade they could not match up a replacement...kind of Catch-22 there!

Will the Valeo Rear Arm Type Wiper Blade(EA) be the proper replacement for the entire blade???

I'm not familiar with that item, but a quick check on Amazon.com says it should fit. How on earth did the entire blade fly off?

Funny thing I went today to pick up the refills to a Autozone store but before going to the store I went online, check and it was supposed to be available at that store... But when I got there BOOM! no refills to be found, then I asked and the guy told me they do not carry refills.

Wish I knew why! It was just a rainy day...no snow or ice. I turned on the wiper and whoops! it just flew off! :)

As I was reading this thread again I came by a post by fellow member meitingo, where he said the Valeo R-12A fits the Rogue. So I went to Amazon and searched for it Valeo R-12A Rear Windshield Wiper Blade, I read the reviews there and other reviewers (many) said that it fits the Rogue and the Juke like it was an OEM part.

It looks like Advance Auto Parts also carries this Valeo Blade for only $10.99 Valeo R-12A Rear Windshield Wiper Blade

Any suggestions on how to remove the rear wiper arm/blade assembly on a 2008 Rogue? I can’t seem to get the old one off. I have removed the nut but the old arm will not budge, I have used WD40, I’ve tried pulling, prying, twisting and it will not move. I’m concerned that I may break the glass or motor assembly. Any information would be appreciated. :gotme

Welcome to our forum.

I wonder why would you like to remove the wiper arm. Don't tell me you went to the dealer and they sold you the whole arm, because stupid Nissan dealer didn't carry wiper blade refill?

I didn’t go to the dealer. I originally looked for a replacement blade in local auto parts stores and didn’t find anything small enough so I ended up buying the entire arm assembly on E-Bay at a reasonable price. It looked as though it would be an easy replacement by just removing the nut, pulling the old one off and slipping the new one back on. Well obviously it’s not quite that simple. I know if I now take it to the dealer they’ll charge me an arm and leg for the labor, which is probably a 5-minute job at most.

If I were you, I just keep the original arm there and swap the blades. Whenever you "touch" something in the car (unless it is broken), you always have the risk of breaking.

If you couldn't remove the arm until now and became a member to a forum and ask for help, you have a high risk of stripping the treads, damaging the wiper motor or even hitting the glass with a ratchet.

Just swap the wiper blades and keep the arm as spare or sell it at craiglist.

Oh by the way, next time go and purchase a 24" "narrow" wiper blade. Remove it from the metal frame, cut into two 12" pieces and swap with the original rubber by using original steel reinforcement strips.

Read the post I made here Rear Window Wiper Replacement. I bought the wiper blade mentioned there and it fit like OEM, it took me less than 30 seconds to switched them.

Why buy refills when you can basically get an OEM Replacement.

If where you are stuck is that you have remove the mounting nut and cannot remove the wiper arm I think you're in a common spot. In my area there are auto parts stores that loans tools for free and one of the common tools is a windshield wiper puller (you could also use a pitman arm puller or any other two leg puller I'd think):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00283 ... LLCH25WEV3

This will pop the arm off for you without a problem. Other things that people use are penetrating lube and heat (although you'd have to be careful with heat), and of course the obvious cut it off.

Just remember that whatever you do make sure to clean the threads properly and put some anti-seize on. I guess if you don't have the anti-seize you could skip it but next time you change the arm you'll need to go through the same thing.

Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Operate the rear wiper to the auto stop position.
2. Remove the rear wiper arm cover.
3. Remove the rear wiper arm mounting nut.
4. Raise rear wiper arm, and remove wiper arm from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean wiper arm mount as shown in the figure to prevent nut
from being loosened.
2. Operate the rear wiper motor to the auto stop position.
3. Adjust the rear wiper blade position. Refer to WW-67, "Adjustment".
4. Install the rear wiper arm by tightening the mounting nut.
5. Inject the washer fluid.
6. Operate the rear wiper to the auto stop position.
7. Check that the rear wiper blades stop at the specified position.
8. Install the rear wiper arm cover.

REAR WIPER BLADE POSITION ADJUSTMENT

(L=distance between the far left edge of the wiper blade and the bottom of the glass)

noticed my rear window wiper blade was torn at both ends. so i went to wally-world (walmart).

1. BUY: R-12A wiper (it will come with the complete arm, but that arm doesnt fit OUR car. but the blade itself does.)
2. Remove your worn/torn blade by gently lifting up your wiper arm, grasping the rubber blade(and the 2 metal guide rod pieces) and pulling away the rubber wiper blade. Pull the rubber blade towards the window.
3. once you removed the old blade, take the new one with the 2 metal guide rods inside, and slip the blade into the little arms that hold the blade. start with the end of the blade thats going towards the motor, and finish up with the last step being the end/tip of the wiper arm.
4. throw away the new wiper arm(not needed, wont fit anyway) and the old rubber wiper blade.

2010 Rogue rear wiper replacement.

For those not wanting to just replace the rubber blade only, this was very easy.

I followed this video I found online:

And used this: Valeo R-12A Rear Windshield Wiper Blade, 12"

Anyone know the exact part number for the Front wiper blade refills for 2009 Rogue? I just need the refill not interested in entire wiper blade assembly. cannot seem to locate a refill locally. Dealers and auto part stores are only selling the entire assembly.
