Good question... I'll see what I can find out about the hub. I'm assuming it's the same as the Sentra, but who knows.

LOL @ Rogue One....good stuff man.

At any rate, I think Rdub is on the right track.

There should be no problem switching a steering wheel out. The biggest concern is losing your air bag, which isn't something I would want to lose. These vehicles are designed to protect the occupants based on certain systems working together at once...seat belts, front and side airbags, etc...

While I pondered changing the steering wheel on my Sentra, losing that air bag is not something I was alright with. I am one for modifying the holy hell out of anything and everything....but losing vital safety components is something that should be thought through first. If that's the route you want to go....do it...and post up some pictures because I am always curious to see modifications.

I know it's a guy thing to modify anything and everything, but I'm with you on this one. Loosing part of the airbag system would be a no go in my book. One of the reasons I up-sized from a Toyota Yaris to the Rogue was because of an accident that claimed my mother's life (she was in a Civic).

I'm hopeful the OP has given careful thought to everything this mod entails. One final thought (and I'm paraphrasing), "Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should."

Thanks. Wood grain sounds interesting. Naturally you'll have to document your process with regular write-ups, along with photos and/or youtube clip.
