Is your battery original? A fully charged battery should be at about 12.5 volts with no load. That is just sitting in your driveway with everything in the car off. You can have your battery tested at various auto parts stores, including a load test which is more accurate as to battery health, for free usually. They do this in hopes of selling you a battery of course. If your battery is original I would think about replacing it. Winter is coming and you don't want to be without a good battery.
Call around and get a good name brand battery at the best price you can find. The dealer may even have a good deal on an OEM battery, though they probably will not install it for free.
As to the hard start yes it could be something else bad fuel, water, condensation or whatever. If its been starting good since, I would wait and see if it happens again. My daughters Toyota started hard the other morning. I think she hit the gas pedal before trying to start it. I didn't have to jump it but I cranked on that starter for about 30 seconds. It's been fine since then. I know her battery is good, fuel filter is a different story though. I'm just monitoring it to see if it happens again.
