Hi, I just bought a 2011 Nissan Rogue SV and was so excited that I can link my ITouch to it. It worked for a few minutes and now it won't connect, or will connect for a few minutes and then stop and says check device. I tried an older model Ipod and it worked without fail. Does anyone know if the ITouch not linking is a common problem? Any insight would be helpful! Thanks! :gotme

Does your ITouch have problems connecting to anything else or just the Rogue?

How are you connecting it? Do you have some sort of ipod cable that the dealer installed? Or are you using the headphone jack to the auxiliary input? OR, are you trying to hook up the bluetooth? If you're trying to hook up the bluetooth, the bluetooth is only for phone calls. Not for streaming audio. I can't see why you'd want to connect it to your bluetooth since it's an ipod and not an iphone. However, I'm not an i-user, so maybe I'm just missing something.

Nick 568,

The 2011's have direct iPod connections via USB... unlike your 2008 model.

I only have issues connecting it to the USB jack in the car. It works just fine with the AUX cable, but then I can't control it from the car stereo. I am beginning to think it's just an issue with the Itouch, because I have now tried 2 older Ipods and they work with no problem. Kinf of stupid that the newest model of Ipods don't work well in a brand new car!

Ahhh, okay. I wondered if they did, but then incorrectly assumed they didn't.
