I just got a Rogue about 3 days ago. I haven't even picked it up yet (its waiting for me in Minneapolis) but I already had the dealer put on the chrome grill. I'm also looking at adding chrome window trim and chrome door handles. Has anyone done this?? Does it look weird with just the trim and not the pillars? I dont really like the pillars but I would like trim by itself. If anyones got pics or are good with the photoshop stuff please please post! thanks

p.s. If I do get the window trim, it involves getting the pillars anyways. so I guess I will just throw them in the garage or something if i dont use them.

I just put on the chrome door handles. They look pretty good. Wouldn't want the window trim or the pillars. I have a picture posted on the 'Other Forum'. Check it out.

Cdmuile, did you get your door handles from Ebay or from the website given by Eddnog?

PS: Did you put it in your photo gallery or did you create a thread? I did not find it... yet

I have the plastic chrome door handle overlay kit.

Clicking on a picture will bring up a larger representation of it:

Front Door Handle

Rear Door Handle

I have the stainless steel window trim and pillar overlay kit on hand, but I am getting custom paintwork done on it, because of the way the B-pillar post pieces are designed (they extend to the top of the window frames), but I don't want wide swaths of chrome. I will post pictures as soon as I get my baby back from my body shop buddy. I'm painting the C-pillar trim pieces flat black, and about 15/16ths of the B-pillar trim pieces flat black (leaving a small bit at the top in chrome so there is a continuous flow of chrome around the window frames from afar. I do not know if that description makes any sense at all to anyone here, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves later.

EDIT: Edited out images not showing the handles, since they're not relevant.

From Eddnog's site. Really heavy duty, quality product. I put the picture in 'my gallery' at the other site.

Alrighty, here are the pictures. Unfortunately, because of the shape of the pillar trim pieces, the paintjob I wanted done on them would not have come out right, so my friend wound up leaving them unpainted. It's going to take me time to adjust to so much chrome on my car! While I would've preferred just the trim around the windows being chrome, even with the pillars chromed too, I still prefer this over not having anything there at all. Anyhow, clicking any image will zoom in...

Hmm...I may have to look into getting those door handle overlays. I keep getting dings on my handles and this would help protect them as well as upgrade the overall look.

Looks pretty good. I'll still pass on the window trim and pillar pieces, but has anyone come across a good quality chrome piece for the horizontal panel immediately above the rear license plate? I mean the one with the hatch lock button in the middle.

Hey, I just got my door handle overlays in the mail yesterday. A quick question regarding installation. Do I need to use the k520 primer that came with it or will just using the 3m tape work fine?

I've often wondered that myself. They never seem to send enough of that stuff. Since 3M advises using it, I always do. Better safe than sorry. Have never had anything fly off that's been held on by the 3M tape.

I did not use the primer; the Nissan accessory chrome grille overlays did not come with any.

Thanks! They're 19" Privat Zentralle wheels with a +40 offset (same as stock). 245/45-19 Advan S.4. tires.
