Noticed on my 2 weeks old 2015 Rogue , Blind Spot Warning lights keeps blinking in wet / rainy conditions. These work perfectly fine in dry conditions. Is this happening with anyone else ? Any suggestions ? Appreciate !

Yes. It is a limitation of the camera system. It detects the motion from road spray and droplets on the camera surface as an object.

Thanks Ferrisfan. I went to the dealership and they also didn't know what could be possibly wrong. They have asked me to leave the vehicle for a day to run diagnosis. From your message I understand that this is non fixable and will be a waste of time to go to the dealership for this problem.

This is normal operation and a symptom of Nissan using the camera for BSW. In the rain it is basically a joke. I noticed that the new 2015 Murano is using radar (like everyone else) for it's BSW system.

I noticed lately that its almost always the drive side that gets the false warning. This happens sometime when it is not raining during the day. Has anyone notice this or should I get it checked?

^^ I've noticed the same but usually at night. Although unlike the rain issues I find it happens very infrequently.

You will get used to it.
I have noticed that in weather conditions the system is not great. Ironically that is when is needed the most.
with rain is hard to do much but one thing you could do is with a soft cloth clean the cameras when driving at night.

Mine too is false-ing more on the driver side than the passenger side. I'd say it's like 99% driver side to 1% passenger side false alarms. Now, maybe It's just more noticeable on the driver side due to angle and proximity of the light to my head, but that's what I'm noticeing.

i saw something in the shop manual about resetting and focusing and doing some other things to the cameras. Is it possible there is a setting somewhere in there to adjust this? I might have to take a closer look in there to see as one of my around view cameras is less "colored" than the other three. I should remember but at the moment I don't, but I think either the left or rear is more black and white compared to the other 3.
