Hi

I bought my 2013 Rogue in Jan 2014 and i noticed a couple of rust spots near the rear lights (both side). Nissan dealer has take pictures and sent to Nissan HQ and they will take around 4-5 weeks to decide on warranty repair. Has anyone had this problem. Are there other areas of the car that i should verify carefully for early rust spots?

On the back hatch? I have been told that is a very common spot for rust on the Rogue. I suspect you will have your rust touched up, and then you will have more and more appear the older your vehicle gets.

I have not read/heard of any other major rust spots. The only other issue that seems to affect a lot of people is the door sill, which chips and rust then occurs. If you search on the forum you'll see some reading material on it and various solutions from people. My preferred is 3M, but I know it's a little more expensive that other solutions.
