The locking gas cap many have used in actually mfg's by Stant. It's not an OEM part. Experiences seem to vary though... some have no issues, others always get the check engine light because the cap does not seal properly. You can read more about it via the Rogue Glossary.. scroll down to the Accessories and Modifications section:

As for the crossbars, many places carry them. You can try our site sponsors on the RH sidebar =>
Or even a google search using the part number:
G3805-JM00A
Good luck!
casperfun wrote:Oh I never end up getting the crossbars because I didn't want to ruin my fuel economy supposedly ...........they say when utilizing them.
I have enough tubes all over my Rogue but supriseingly my ( I KNOW ) inaccurate orange display computer says I get 24.2 mpg in city.
Also seems to be prevailing theme on the rusty screws, my friend who has a 2008 Rogue that came with crossbars has unappealing rusty screws now. If it was me I would have used some rust convertor to make it into a black primer. Or else change with new screws. Better than nasty orange spots.
I might get it someday when I am bored and run out of mods to do on my Rogue.
Yes, the Stant part # is #11508 or #10508. (The cap is the same, the part number is different because of the differences in packaging).rayjgold wrote:Thanks for the info. Is the stant part number mentioned in this thread, the same on 2011 models as it is for the earlier versions mentioned in this thread?
That's funny because you shouldn't see a big difference from it but you may get extra noise in the car. I'm going to use your phrase pretty often nowcasperfun wrote:I didn't want to ruin my fuel economy
No decrease in fuel economy with the cross bar, the way you drive have more influence than these bars (they are quite aerodynamic, BTW).rayjgold wrote:Rusty screws? Decreased fuel economy? Should i hold off on the crossbars???????? I dont plan to be using them in the near future anyway. Does the rust happen with all the screws/model years??
fyi, I ended up getting the stant 11508 for a pep boys. Havent had any trouble with the check engine like so far.philipa_240sx wrote:

The Stant locking gas cap fits all Nissan and Infiniti vehicles from 2001 and later including the 2011 Rogue.
No I havent gotten the crossbars yet.....I thought I'd try to get them closer to a time when i would actually use them.....I've had a Rav4 with crossbars for almost 5 years and used them only once!!! So I thought...hey...what's the rush?netak wrote:Did you ever get the crossbars? I have a set that came with my 2010 Rogue that I didn't want on and had the dealer remove. They've been sitting in my closet collecting dust and I'd be willing to work out a deal. Let me know.
I listed the gas cap that I bought that fits. I've been using it since NOV 2010 and havent had a problem with it yet....no check engine lights, that is.JRinGeorgia wrote:Hi all, picking up late here on the locking gas cap discussion. Bought a 2011 Rogue recently and discovered that there in fact is not a locking gas cap available for it. Here's a link that specifically notes that the locking gas cap does not fit 2011 Rogue: http://www.courtesyparts.com/stant-lock ... -p-36.html
In addition, I called Stant directly and they confirmed that they have no locking gas cap (yet) that fits the 2011 Rogue. Nissan doesn't sell one, can't find one at Pep Boys or Advanced. I guess it's SOL for now. Very disappointing, a locking gas cover was standard equip on the 1996 Maxima I traded in, why wouldn't they put something so simple and important on their latest vehicles?
interesting I have the rogue 2011 SL and it fits mine just fine... i didnt check to see if the stem was longer or not thought. Is yours Canadian? maybe they are different from the USA model?JRinGeorgia wrote:Update: purchased the Stant 11508 gas cap and it does not fit my 2011 Rogue. The "shank" -- or whatever you call the threaded white plastic piece that goes into the tank's fill hole -- is longer than the shank on the gas cap that comes with the vehicle. I tried multiple times, different angles, rotating it in, etc, it just does not fit.
