Hello Folks,

I read a lot about the Rogue and the Iphone and based on the compatibility list from nissan USA, it is compatible and it is the case.

But, I have a problem that I don't have before with my Motorola Razr. When the phone is ringing, I have 2 types of ring, the Bose System and my iphone, which it doesn't append with my Motorola. Also, the phone number is not displayed on the radio, which it was there before.

Any idea? Can I fix this?

I have a new phone, but less functionnal...

Regards,

I know with Android phones, you have to give the car permissions to access the phonebook (this is an option you have to check upon initial pairing of the device). I imagine the iPhone must be similar in a way.

My Android rings twice also - the car rings and the phone rings its standard ringtone. I think that's just how newer phones are. Many people use bluetooth headsets, but don't wear them unless in a car (which is why I would imagine they changed it so both the bluetooth and the device ring)

What I would try is deleting the iPhone pairing from the car/deleting the car from the iPhone's bluetooth settings, and re-pair the phone, paying close attention to the phone to see if a permissions prompt pops up (something along the lines of "My Car is requesting permission to access the phonebook") and check "always allow" if it comes up. If that doesn't work, then I would double check any other bluetooth settings on the iPhone.

I don't remember if there is a setting on the car's bluetooth settings to allow caller-id. I'm pretty sure it's automatic if it has access. At least it was that way for my '08 and '10 Altima coupes.
