Hi all,

Nissan OEM rod and main bearings.

There are 7 different standard sized grades.

Nissan cannot tell me anything about them,. i.e. smaller/bigger, in which direction.

Anybody have any idea, or are you guys running ACL and such 1 size fits all bearings.

Greg

One size does not fit all mains. Usually bearing size is determined by what size crank is machined to as a correction of out of round or taper. Since different cranks will need different levels, there are different bearings. Or so it would seem to me. IIRC, the crank has labeled on it the sizes and types of bearings used for OEM specs.

I said aftermarket bearings are single size std.
