dont mind my n00biness....but i was reading on a site ( http://www.turbo240sx.ca/ ) that this guy bought connecting rods for his KA that were made for a domestic V8 engine. it didnt go into much detail. question is: could i buy rods made for a domestic that would fit somewhat CLOSE to the KA crank, with just a lil shaving and what not? :help thanks

alsio, i searched and found nothing :(

well if all the dimensions were right yes. Both the big and small ends would have to be the same and the widths at least at the ends too. The center to center should be the same unless you want custom pistons with adjusted pin heights. In the long run you do better to get the Carillo rods for the KA and be done with it.
