rod knock??

:facepalm: hey guys i been experiencing what i believe to be rod knock. when i start the engine there's a slight knock until the engine is warmed up. someone told me i should run straight 50 weight and baby it. im currently running 10-30. should i run the 50 weight or something like a 5-40. advise would be greatly appreciated. thanks
