Rod bearings will they work ?

Im planning on replacing the rod bearings in my s14 sr20 motor when i get it in . Can i use after market upgraded bearings on a untouched bottom end or should i just use the oem rod bearings . I have searched but cant find the answer to this specific ? i have . Here are the ones im thinking of and have any of you used these ? http://www.frsport.com/ACL-Rac....htmlThanks for the time .

You can use either stock or aftermarket. Just be sure you have the clearances correct.

aftermarket bearings usually only come in a few sizes, because most people using after market bearings have machine work done on there engine. there crank journals are usually uniform size. if you are going to use aftermarket bearings i would have a machine shop mic and polish your crank to a uniform size

the ones im looking at are standard . that's the only part i dont know about . i.e what the actual size is .. but thanks for the help ..
