Rod bearing sizes.

So I got a free 240(1990 sohc) a few months back. The hitch was that the motor was blown. I figured I could rebuild it. So I got a rebuild kit and had the crank/block fixed up. Then a problem occured. The crank were the rods connect had to be oversized .040. So I have been looking for new rod bearings (The kit I got were standard sizes). Problem is I cant find anything over .030 anywere. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick up a full set of .040 rod bearings. And if not what course of action should I take? Personally I dont think I want to replace the crank and rods because it just is not worth it for the KA24E.
