Rockford Fosgate system

Hey I bought a new 09 Sentra SE-R and opted for the Rockford Fosgate system. I was just wondering what they consider subwoofers? To me all it has is a couple of regular woofers on the rear parcel shelf. When I was buying it everything lists it as having 2 tweeters, 2 pairs of mids, and a pair of subwoofers. To me all it has is mids and no subwoofers. Am I missing something or did the Rockford Fosgate system get worse since 2007?

No, thats why I am confused. Now it lists 2 subwoofers. But there are clearly none. In my opinion its just 8 speakers with an amplifier. Apparently in 2007 or 2008 the system changed.

The "sub" in the old ones was only 6.5-7.5in IIRC and was mounted with a crossover on the other side. Open the trunk and look at the rear shelf directly to see.

My guess is that it's one or two "subs" that probably look like woofers but are dedicated to lower frequencies than a typical woofer.

Yeah I figured the two 8inch ones on the shelf are the subwoofers. Coming from someone that installs car stereos for fun the entire system is underwhelming. Then again I usually have a pair of 12s so I am biased, but still disappointed.

Here's the RF info for the system. Appears to have 4 - 2.5" horns, 2 - 6x9's, and 2 - 8" long throw "subwoofers."

The 2009 has the same system. The subs are underneath the shelf speakers.
