Sounds good, and they are right about it being one of the cheapest (price wise) for a 3in exhaust.

Unless you make you own or go with Megan from ebay, which I heard was good also.

yeah it deffinetly sounds good, but i know the old sayin 'you get what you pay for' , thats why i was hoping someone had experience with it maybe to see if its true in this case.

edit: were you sayin it sounds good in that youve heard it and it actualy sounds good, or were you just saying that the deal sounds good?

The deal sounds good. I would go with it, if I hadn't already made my exhaust. I trust Jspec, and 450 is about right if you compare the prices for exhaust in Japan.

Which is what I did for a long time, but shipping is just to much for a single person. Jspec just gets better deals on shipping I assume because they order in bulk.

I didn't think any exhaust had a resonator. I have a resonated straight pipe on my system with a 3in downpipe.

It is only really loud when you get on it, like most exhaust. It is very deep when you are just daily driving though and hums nicely on the freeway. Doesn't give you a headache if you have had experience with thoughs type of exhaust.

Blitz exhaust have a resonator/extra muffler, As do Border and RS-R. It helps remove the "ricey" sound from the exhaust and imo, is a must. I've heard exhausts without them that did sound ok, but still a little loud and "ricey" for my tastes.

resonators do the same as a muffler, only for a different frequency of sound, correct? it just sort of fills in the gaps for sound muffling? if i fully understand (and theres not much that i do understand correctly), an exhaust without a resonator would be only slightly louder than the same exhaust with a resonator, no?

thats pretty much my understanding too, its basically just a second, straight through muffler very much like a glasspack. It dampens out the extremes in the exhaust note (kills the raspiness etc.)

yup, a resonator cancels out high frequency sounds in the exhaust, killing the lawnmower sounds for the most part. if your exhaust doesnt have one, resonators are pretty much glasspack [cherry bomb] mufflers. just get a glasspack, cut out a section of the exhaust and weld that ****er in there.

It looks better. And do not install system without resonator, it will sound like a damn HONDA.

RS*R has a resonator? the GT-II anyway? doesnt seem like it from the picture they have on their site. guess it depends on the car model
